A family emergency has forced former Gov. George Pataki to put his presidential campaign events on hold.
The Republican's son-in-law, Dr. David Levy, 30, suffered a stroke while on a flight from Chicago to Seattle.
Levy is married to Pataki's daughter, Allison. The couple was taking a vacation before the birth of their first child. Levy is said to be in an intensive care unit at a Chicago hospital.
Pataki was supposed to be in New Hampshire for a series of events, but had to bow out at the last minute. He hopes to return to the campaign trail next week.
