Just weeks away from the first day of school, E.F. Academy in Thornwood says several faculty members showed up on campus earlier this week and tested positive for COVID-19.

They were immediately tested with a rapid antigen test as part of reopening protocols.

A second round of more sensitive testing all came back negative.

The school is now waiting on further testing results while staff members remain isolated out of an abundance of caution.
