The FBI field office in Albany is assuring the public that New York’s state capitol will be kept secure.
"We are monitoring, talking to our partners, doing everything we can to get that information, and if there is, we'll act on it," says Special Agent Thomas Relford, of the FBI Albany Field Office.
Right now the FBI says it does not have any specific threats against Albany.
However, Gov. Andrew Cuomo has announced that security will be increased this weekend through the inauguration.
