It’s spooky season! And you know what that means? Putting your bravery to the test on this week’s Road Trip: Close to Home to a haunted Hudson Valley gem.
Do you get scared easily? Well, that doesn’t even matter because at Pure Terror Scream Park in Monroe, you’re about to walk through the longest haunted house in the world.
“We hold the longest haunt for The Guinness World Record, we got that title in 2015 and we still hold that to this day,” says Glenn Donovan, of Pure Terror Scream Park.
There are ten different haunted houses that you have to make your way through from a spooky skeleton-riddled crypt, to the resurrection cemetery
“We want to make sure we get the scares and the screams as much as we can,” says Donovan.
Ten months of the year are dedicated to making sure the ghouls, goblins, gore and ghosts will freak you off your feet, that’s why it's recommended you’re at least ten years old before visiting.
Though no matter the age, the place will shock all five senses, and leave you wishing for a 6th sense just to prepare for what lies around the corner.
