Federal agents were seen in Spring Valley on Thursday morning.
Lashaun Walker, who lives on Paquin Lane, caught the activity on her cellphone.
Her video shows law enforcement with "FBI" vests in the parking lot of an apartment complex off Ewing Avenue, as well as an agent opening the door of a taxicab.
Walker says she felt something was going on because she saw a number of cars on her road.
She described what happened next.
"I saw the people running out trying to get into their cars to leave. And one car got away, but that second car, in the "Go Cab," the blue car that was parked on my street had blocked him in. He [the taxi] reversed back into the parking lot. He jumps out of the car and starts running. And that's when I saw them all coming. Then they came back around and he was in handcuffs," she says.
It's not the first time see's seen this kind of activity so close to home. She shared another video of FBI at a neighbor's house last week.
When asked about Thursday morning's activity, FBI New York tells News 12 it is "supporting our partners at the Department of Homeland Security in immigration enforcement operations across the region. FBI special agents are participating in these DHS-led efforts, with our support tailored to meet specific operational needs.”
A local law enforcement source in Rockland says at least three people were arrested by ICE in Spring Valley Thursday.
News 12 is waiting to hear back from ICE about what happened.
