For the past six months, Robert and Charlene Spierer have been in Bloomington, Ind., searching for anything that would give them answers about what happened to their missing daughter Lauren. While home recently, her parents gave an exclusive interview to News 12, which can be seen in its entirety this weekend.
Charlene tells News 12 that even while they're home, their main focus is on finding their daughter. "It's almost like you can't give yourself that luxury of thinking about Lauren before June 3," she says.
Lauren, a sophomore at Indiana University, disappeared June 3 after a night out with friends. Her family believes those who saw her last know something, but police haven't ruled out a random abduction.
News 12's full interview with the Spierer family airs this weekend in a special edition of Newsmakers.
