Westchester Community College's former men's basketball coach faced a judge Thursday a year after a transcript scandal rocked the school.
Former coach Tyrone Mushatt is charged with nine counts of doctoring players' transcripts.
"Westchester Community College affirms its commitment to the highest standards of academic integrity," said a spokesperson from the college. "We have fully cooperated with the investigation and express our appreciation to the district attorney's office for its thoroughness in this matter."
Prosecutors say Mushatt could face up to seven years in state prison if convicted.
