Former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky insisted he's innocence during an interview with the New York Times.
Sandusky says he never sexually abused children and portrays himself as a father-like figure to the kids in his life. He also said he never spoke with former head coach Joe Paterno about any allegations of misconduct.
Three attorneys representing one of the alleged victims says that Sandusky's comments were "an unconvincing denial and a series of bizarre explanations."
Sandusky has been charged with molesting eight boys over 15 years. Penn State's Board of Trustees fired Paterno, a Brooklyn native, citing that he didn't do enough to alert authorities about the allegations.
