A former Mount Vernon water commissioner is now facing prison time after pleading guilty to federal bribery charges.
Anthony Bove admitted to soliciting a $10,000 bribe from a Mount Vernon water department employee.
Prosecutors say the money was in exchange for approving the employee's promotion in the department.
Bove also admitted to lying to the FBI. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
