Two former Yonkers police officers pleaded guilty Thursday in connection to a case in which they lied to get a search warrant.

Ex-police officer Neil Vera pleaded guilty to perjury and official misconduct, while former detective Christian Koch pleaded guilty to perjury.

The case stemmed from a search warrant last March that took place at 141 School St. in Yonkers. During a raid of a third-floor apartment, resident Dario Tena jumped out of a window and died. The death sparked an investigation.

The former officers admitted that they lied to get the warrant, and then convinced an informant to lie to the grand jury about it.

As a result of the investigation, at least one drug conviction and charges against 20 other defendants have been dropped.
