Ex-Briarcliff Manor officer convicted of 4 murders pleads innocence to judge in letter ahead of sentencing
A former Briarcliff Manor police officer convicted in a quadruple murder sent a 12-page letter to the federal judge presiding over his case to claim his innocence, discuss inhumane conditions in prison, among other things.

The sentencing for Nicholas Tartaglione is expected in two weeks.
Tartaglione faces life in prison without parole in the murders of four immigrants in Orange County over a drug deal.
In the letter, Tartaglione covers topics such as what he calls the inhumane conditions that he has been forced to live in since his 2016 arrest.
Tartaglione also claims in the letter that the key prosecution witness lied and maintains that he did not commit the crimes he was convicted of.
Tartaglione's new attorney is seeking a new trial.
He is set to be sentenced on June 10.
