Events taking place across Hudson Valley on 9/11 to honor victims

Wednesday marks the 23rd anniversary of 9/11, and there are several events taking place throughout the Hudson Valley to honor the victims of that tragic day.

Events taking place across Hudson Valley on 9/11 to honor victims
Wednesday marks the 23rd anniversary of 9/11, and there are several events taking place throughout the Hudson Valley to honor the victims of that tragic day.
Yonkers, Newburgh, Haverstraw, Poughkeepsie and Mount Vernon have events slated for the morning. This includes gatherings are happening at:
-Water Grant Street Waterfront, 8:30 a.m.
-Park Place 9/11 Memorial, 8:30 a.m.
-Haverstraw Bay County Park, 8:30 a.m.
-Dutchess County Family Court Building, 8:30 a.m.
-Mount Vernon City Hall, 10:30 a.m.
Several events are also set for the afternoon in Westchester, Cortlandt, Croton-On-Hudson, Yorktown, Mamaroneck, Mount Pleasant, and Montgomery.
They include:
-Kensico Dam Plaza, 3 p.m.
-9/11 Remembrance Memorial, Croton Landing, 4 p.m.
-John C. Hart Memorial Library, 4 p.m.
-Memorial Park, 5 p.m.
-Mount Pleasant Town Hall, 6 p.m.
-Orange County Arboretum at Thomas Bull Memorial Park, 6 p.m.
