An environmental group is calling for an investigation into a resurfaced story about Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a former presidential candidate, and his alleged involvement in cutting off a whale's head with a chainsaw.

The story, shared by Kennedy's daughter Kathleen 12 years ago, claims that Kennedy Jr. used a chainsaw to remove the head of a whale that had washed up on shore in Massachusetts. He then drove the whale head back to their Mount Kisco home.
