Crews searched the Hudson River after an empty kayak was found drifting on the water.
Construction workers first spotted the empty kayak under the Tappan Zee Bridge in Tarrytown around 9 a.m.
Marine units from the Rockland County Sheriff's Department and the Westchester County Police Department searched the river.
Nothing was found and the search was eventually called off. Officials said it's possible that it may only be a kayak that floated away with no one in it.
