Empire City Casino hosts first summer concert following pandemic hiatus

Grammy winning rhythm and blues band the Commodores took to the stage to much of delight of fans who attended the outdoor show.

Empire City Casino's Summer Concert returned Sunday night to Yonkers for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
Grammy winning rhythm and blues band the Commodores took to the stage to much of delight of fans who attended the outdoor show.
Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts played host to the first outdoor live concert since 2020.
Fans started to line up early ahead of Commodores' night performance. They said the music took them back to their youth and added their love songs are timeless classics.
Empire City Casino's Taryn Duffy said it was appropriate to have the Motown legends as the first outdoor live concert since the pandemic shutdown.
