Emergency crews are keeping an eye out on conditions across the Hudson Valley as rain continues to fall.
They're urging drivers to take it easy, if the roads get slick.
"It's a drought, so thank God we got some rain," says Hudson Valley resident Pat Foucher.
For many residents, the moisture is being celebrated with how dry things have been.
"We need it, it hasn't rained in a while," says a Westchester County resident.
Emergency officials tell News 12 they prepared for the rain and cleared out debris where needed.
The rain could turn into a wintry mix Thursday night.
A winter weather advisory for Orange, Rockland, Putnam and North Westchester counties is in effect until Friday at 10 a.m.
