Officials are blaming an electrical issue for a fire that consumed an Ardsley home.

Firefighters were called at around 9 p.m. on Saturday to a home in Western Drive.

They say the flames started in the basement and spread to the main floor.

The residents were already out of the house before fire officials arrived and no one was hurt.
