A mall Easter Bunny and a father are being charged after a brawl at a mall in Jersey City over the weekend.
Jersey City police say that Kassim Charles, 22, who was playing the role of the Easter Bunny, and Juan Jimenez-Guerrero, 44, were charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
According to city spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill, the fight stemmed from a disagreement between the two men after Jimenez-Guerrero's 1-year-old daughter slipped from a chair while she was getting her picture taken with Charles as the Easter Bunny.
Morrill says that Jimenez-Guerrero verbally and physically attacked Charles after the girl slipped. Both men were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Both men also had outstanding warrants, including a warrant for Charles for "fare hopping."
Video of the fight was posted on Twitter by user Kevin Pineda Sunday evening. The video quickly went viral.
