Voters
can begin casting their ballots on Saturday for the 16th Congressional District
race.
The
newly redrawn district encompasses all of lower Westchester and a
slice of the northeast Bronx.
Incumbent
Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman is looking to defend his seat against
former Scarsdale mayor and pediatrician Dr. Miriam Levitt
Flisser.
In a
previous interview with News 12, Bowman highlighted the $200 million he secured
for the district in his first two years for seniors, infrastructure and
health care.
Flisser
said she would focus on jobs, crime and immigration if given the
opportunity to serve the district.
