While much of the Hudson Valley is preparing for a major snowstorm, some residents are getting ready for 'Eaglefest 2016' to take flight.
Teatown Lake Reservation is helping showcase the majestic bird and other winged creatures and staged a preview yesterday in Ossining.
The Feb. 6 event will be an opportunity to see dozens of eagles and other birds of prey soar high above Croton Point Park. "You never know what you're going to see. You might see one hunting one time. You might see one scavenging. You might see them just playing, some mating behavior, so it's always something new," says Elissa Schilmeister, of Teatown Lake Reservation.
Tickets are now on sale at a discounted price of $13 for adults and $8 for children.
