Dutchess County rescue crews used thermal imaging to find two lost hikers on Tuesday night at Stissing Mountain.
Thermal imaging technology helped authorities locate the pair just two hours after they were reported lost.
Police say the hikers were approximately 4,000 feet into the woods from their vehicle.
Pine Plains fire officials were also on the scene and escorted them to safety.
