A Dutchess County man will spend 22 years in prison for his role in a Poughkeepsie murder.
Devin Taylor has been sentenced in the shooting death of Darren Villani of Poughkeepsie.
Taylor pleaded guilty to shooting the man last August.
He also pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the fatal shooting of a Marist College parent at the Courtyard by Marriott in Poughkeepsie last October.
He was sentenced to seven years in prison on that plea.
Both sentences will run concurrently.
A co-defendant, Roy Johnson, still faces murder charges in both shootings.
His trial in the hotel shooting is scheduled to begin May 1.
