Drug kingpin sentenced to 10 years in prison
A drug kingpin in Orange County will spend the next 10 years in prison.
Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler says Brandon Masker, 34, of Warwick, admitted to having four people distribute cocaine in the county and surrounding areas.
Masker’s arrest was part of “Operation Chopper,” an effort by law enforcement to crack down on crime by outlaw motorcycle clubs.
As part of his guilty plea, Masker had to hand over $30,000 in drug money and the three ATVs used to transport the drugs.
