Temperatures were right around where they should be this time of the year, with highs getting into the mid-50s. Cloud cover came and went through the day, and that will continue being the case tonight. Expect mostly cloudy skies in spots, with a chance for some patchy fog, especially closer to the city in some low-lying areas.
Temperatures will be warming up for Election Day, with highs expected to be in the upper 60s to low 70s. There shouldn't be any weather to get in the way from people going out to the polls. By Wednesday, the warmth will peak for the week and do so at record levels.
A cold front will pass by Wednesday afternoon to the evening hours. It will try to bring a few raindrops to the area but many locations will trend dry. Once the front passes though, temperatures will cool down for Thursday and Friday. But don't expect a massive drop off though.
For the upcoming weekend, expect it to be a nice and seasonal one for about 75% of the time. Sunday afternoon has clouds building up and a chance for rain arrives.
