Officials released new details about a deadly hit-and-run in Hunts Point.

Investigators say that the driver of a 2018 BMW blew through a red light at a high speed before striking 51-year-old Angelo Camera on his bike.

The crash happened on Tuesday on Bruckner Boulevard.

Police say the BMW then crashed into several other cars. They say the driver abandoned the car and ran away.

Camera later died at Lincoln Hospital.

Anyone who may have information about the driver is urged to contact the NYPD.
