A person had to be cut out of their vehicle following a crash in West Harrison Tuesday night.
The West Harrison Fire Department, along with Harrison EMS, was called to White Plains Avenue and High Street around 8:45 p.m.
Crew found one person trapped in the car, which had flipped over on to its side
Crews stabilized the vehicle with Paratech Struts, and then used two cutters and reciprocating saws to cut open the car and free the occupant.
Fire officials say one person was transferred to Harrison EMS for further evaluation and care and another was taken to a trauma center. Information about the patient’s condition has not been released.
