Driver dies in crash with tractor-trailer in Brewster

State police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that happened Thursday morning in Brewster.
It involved a tractor-trailer and a car on Route 6 in the area of Dingle Ridge Road.
The Brewster Fire Department says responders found a car wedged underneath the tractor-trailer, with the car fully engulfed in flames.
The truck was carrying food products, and the truck driver was not injured.
Authorities say the driver of the car, who was the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
