Driver arrested after car overturns in Hawthorne

A car carrying three passengers overturned in an accident Sunday morning in Hawthorne. Police say the driver veered off the side of the Taconic Parkway on the exit heading south to the Saw Mill River

A car carrying three passengers overturned in an accident Sunday morning in Hawthorne.
Police say the driver veered off the side of the Taconic Parkway on the exit heading south to the Saw Mill River Parkway at around 7:30 a.m.
The car overturned and landed at the edge of a body of water.
Officials say there were no serious injuries as a result of the accident.
Police say the driver of the car was likely drunk. The driver, who has not yet been identified, was arrested.
