The Dreidel House in Mamaroneck is back open after a five-year absence.
The Hanukkah fun center has been a tradition in the community for decades and features a wide array of activities such as candle making, interactive games, food, and gift items for sale.
Inside, kids get to make olive oil, play new video games, jump in the Dreidel bounce house among other fun activities. "Instead of studying about the story, they get to touch the story, feel the story and make the story. Instead of studying about the oil and the candles and the miracles and the history, they get to feel it, play with it and enjoy it with a hands-on tangible way," says Rabbi Mendel Silberstein, of the Dreidel House of Mamaroneck.
The Dreidel House is located at 101 Mamaroneck Ave. in Mamaroneck.
It'll be open through Dec. 26, from noon to 6 p.m.
