The Doyle Senior Center in New Rochelle has started to resume in-person activities and celebrated with a St. Patrick's Day lunch Wednesday.
The building was closed during the pandemic, but the staff continued to provide services to the city's elderly and most needy without interruption.
The reopening of the building is welcome news to the city's seniors, with hot lunches being served a few times a week and exercise programs underway.
The St. Patrick's Day lunch was served by students from Iona.
