A 16-year-old male from Yonkers has been arraigned on several charges in connection with a double stabbing at a Yonkers park.
Officials say two men were stabbed multiple times by Dashawn Flamer, of Yonkers, before 8 p.m. yesterday in Columbus Park.
They say the victims got into a verbal dispute with Flamer after he walked on to the soccer field where they were playing.
The first victim is a 26-year-old Yonkers man who had stab wounds to his thigh. He was treated and released from a local hospital.
The second victim is a 42-year-old male from Yonkers who was stabbed in his upper chest. He's expected to survive, and is in stable condition at a local trauma center.
Flamer has been charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of assault in the first degree.
