Hudson Valley voters got a dose of Donald Trump Sunday ahead of the New York primary elections.
Trump spoke at a packed rally in Poughkeepsie, while dozens of people protested outside.
The GOP presidential hopeful received plenty of cheers, especially when he addressed job loss in New York state.
An 18-year-old who attended the rally says he hopes Trump can bring manufacturing jobs back. Another Trump supporter said she hasn't felt this much excitement since Ronald Reagan.
Trump says he's going to "make America great again" by taxing American companies who ship jobs overseas.
The New York primary elections are on Tuesday.
