The late rapper and Yonkers native Earl "DMX" Simmons is set to be posthumously ordained at a historic church in Westchester County.
The ceremony will take place Saturday at Foster Memorial AME Zion Church in Tarrytown.
The 164-year-old church is one of the oldest African Methodist Episcopal Zion churches in the county.
Saturday's event is meant to recognize DMX's public pride in his Christian faith. The 50-year-old rapper died from a drug overdose in 2021.
