Rapper and Yonkers native DMX is now a free man.
He was released from federal prison in West Virginia Friday morning.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was serving a one-year sentence for federal tax evasion.
He also had to pay $2.3 million in restitution.
The 48-year-old will be under supervised release for the next three years.
