The show will, apparently, go on after rapper DMX passed out in a hotel parking lot in Yonkers.
"He bounced back. He's doing great," DMX's attorney Murray Richman said Wednesday. "He's ready for his show on Saturday. He sends his love to his fans."
Richman also said Earl Simmons, which is the rapper's given name, was recovering at his ex-wife's Mount Kisco home, but no one answered when a News 12 crew knocked on the door.
According to witnesses, the rapper ingested a white substance and passed out outside the Ramada on Tuckahoe Road Monday.
Yonkers Police Detective Lt. Patrick McCormack said officers responded to the Ramada, where they found a 45-year-old man with no pulse in the parking lot. McCormack said privacy laws prevented him from identifying the man and that paramedics gave the victim the opioid-reversal medication Narcan.
According to police, the victim responded to the Narcan and was given oxygen. The victim was then transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center. He was released Tuesday.
Richman said his client told him he passed out because of an asthma attack. He also said he didn't discuss the possible drug overdose with his client.
DMX's concert will be in Pennsylvania.
