A long-awaited DMV office is back in White Plains.The New York DMV commissioner joined the New York lieutenant governor to mark the occasion Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new office is at The Source at White Plains shopping complex at 1 Maple Ave.
DMV staff say it comes with a better design to improve customer service.
The new office replaces a temporary office in Tarrytown created after the location at White Plains Mall closed.
Officials say most transactions at the office should be done in 30 minutes or less.
