The county's Industrial Development Agency is finishing 2014 on a high note as it celebrates a record year.
Jim Coleman, who heads up the IDA, says his company along with Westchester's development corporation helped finance a record $560 million in development projects such as the Harbor Square in Ossining.
Coleman says the Harbor Square project is going to help revitalize the neighborhood. When it is complete, the building will offer 188 rental apartments along the Hudson.
Projects like Harbor Square also helped bring hundreds of construction jobs to the area.
Coleman says his agency is also responsible for bringing affordable senior housing to Mamaroneck and upgrades to area hospitals. He hopes all of his agency's effort will keep the phone ringing about projects for the new year.
