Yonkers detectives helped to make this Christmas a little brighter for the son of a murder victim.

Michael Federico was killed after a sustaining an injury in April 2019. Since then, Detective Frank Califano has been in touch with the family.

On Wednesday night, he and fellow detectives stopped by to give Michael Jr. a Christmas gift.

The suspect in the death of Michael's father is awaiting trial.
