A deadly virus is now sweeping through the deer population in the Hudson Valley.
According to The New York State's Department of Environmental Conservation, at least 400 deer throughout the area have died in connection to a viral disease known as EHD since mid-August of this year.
They say the disease is only transmitted through deer by the way of infected "midge" bugs.
