DA: Former corrections officer pleads guilty to crimes against female victim
A former Rockland County corrections officer has pleaded guilty to unlawful imprisonment, according to the Rockland County DA's Office.
Prosecutors say John Kezek, 36, who now lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, also pleaded guilty to forcible touching
Kezek's arrest followed a 2021 investigation into criminal activity inside the Rockland County Jail.
The DA's office said only limited information could be released due to the crimes and to protect the identity of the victim.
The charges were based on allegations by a female victim who allegedly came into contact with Kezek while he was working as a correction officer.
He has been promised a sentence of five years' probation.
He is due back in court for sentencing on July 26.
