Westchester District Attorney Janet DiFiore, who won Tuesday's Democratic primary by a landslide, may still face her opponent Tony Castro in November.
Speaking at her campaign headquarters in White Plains, DiFiore told her supporters she wasn't surprised by the results of the primary.
In the general election in November, DiFiore is expected to face Republican Dan Schorr and Castro, who still carries two minor party lines.
Castro remained upbeat Tuesday night, thanking the controversial newspaper publisher Sam Zherka for his support. Castro, however, has yet to announce whether or not he will stay in the race.
