Gov. Andrew Cuomo was in Sullivan County Thursday where a billion-dollar Las Vegas-style casino and resort will be built.
Cuomo says the Montreign Resort, which will have 61 table games, a golf course, indoor water park and hotel, will serve as a mid-Hudson Valley and Catskill region destination location.
The site will be built on the former Concord Resort grounds in Sullivan County and is about 90 minutes from Manhattan.
Two other casino-resorts were chosen to be built in upstate New York.
A fourth license, expected to go to Orange County, was denied by the Gaming Facility Location Board.
