Cleanup crews are continuing to try and stop a major oil spill from polluting the Bronx River.
More than 2,000 gallons of home heating oil leaked from a truck delivering oil to Glendale Gardens on Bronx River Road on Saturday.
Fire crews were able to contain about 1,500 gallons, but the remaining oil spilled into the Bronx River.
The Yonkers Fire Department has told News 12 that there isn't much oil left that needs to be cleaned up. Crews could still be at the site a few more more days until the work is done.
No one was hurt during the incident.
The owner of the truck that spilled the oil said they are doing everything they can to clean up the spill.
