A Hudson Valley fire department battled a blaze at its own firehouse.
The incident happened at the Tivoli Fire Department Friday night.
Fire officials say crews were able to run in and save one fire engine, UTV and a boat. But the village's only ambulance was destroyed.
Firefighters were able to use the saved engine to start attacking the flames.
Multiple departments responded to the scene.
County Executive Marc Molinaro says the county is assisting as well.
"Dutchess County's 911 system will manage the mutual aid," says Molinaro. "There's already a response plan put in place to ensure the residents have emergency response."
Mayor Joel Griffith says the community of 1,100 residents is already showing its support.
This year marks the 100th year that Tivoli's Fire Department has been in service. The community is determined to rebuild a better and stronger fire department for its next 100 years.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire, but they're focused on the electrical wiring of the fire truck.
There is a GoFundMe page set up to raise money for the department.
