Firefighters were called to the scene of a fire Sunday evening at a multifamily home in Monsey.
A fire chief on the scene told News 12 the fire began in a top floor unit of the house at 14 Jeffery Pl. around 6:15 p.m.

The chief said the multifamily home was under construction and there were no occupants inside.
Multiple fire departments responded to the three-alarm fire and were able to bring it under control.
No injuries were reported.
A cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
