The Yorktown Police Department is urging residents to avoid driving in snowy conditions after two crashes with injuries occurred in the area.
One crash happened on the Taconic State Parkway heading northbound by Illington Road, and the other occurred on Heights Drive off Underhill Avenue.
In both cases, injuries did not appear to be serious, but both crashes involved vehicles running off the roadway.
Police are advising drivers to exercise caution and drive slowly if they must venture out in the snowy weather.
