An Orange County man died in a head-on crash overnight.

New Windsor police say Gerald Dembeck, 67, of Campbell Hall, was driving a pickup truck westbound on Route 207, near the Rock Tavern Post Office, and crossed into the eastbound lane shortly before midnight on Wednesday.

They say he struck a car driven by Eileen Brooks, 52, of New Windsor.

Dembeck was pronounced dead at the scene.

Brooks was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center and is listed in serious condition.
