COVID continues to rage with 20% positivity rate
New York’s seven-day average positivity rate now stands at a whopping 20%.

20%.
Over 60,000 New Yorkers tested positive for COVID-19 which is nearly
20,000 less than Saturday's numbers.
Although this is just a small victory, as it is still almost double the number
of positive cases from just last week.
Here are some of the new case numbers from around the Mid-Hudson region:
- Rockland County - 846
- Orange County - 1,242
- Westchester County - 3,307
Statewide there were 1,500 new
hospitalizations bringing the total to 8,773. There were 83 new deaths
Sunday as well.
Eight of those deaths were in the Hudson Valley, with victims in Dutchess,
Rockland and Westchester counties.
