Putnam County may soon have its first COVID-19 testing site.
County Executive Maryellen Odell is calling on the state health department to build a site 'without delay.'
Odell says the present lack of testing is putting the local health system in danger.
There are currently 106 positive cases in the area.
Officials say Putnam County has already run out of testing kits.
