There will be more chances to break out the umbrellas this weekend with several rounds of rain on the way.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

A system will move out of the Midwest overnight, bringing several shower chances through the day on Saturday. It won't be a soggy day all day long, but the wet weather will make you not want to linger outside without the rain gear. By the overnight hours, there is a chance for a few non-severe thunderstorms to roll through, especially closer to the city.

The rain will linger into Sunday morning but taper off and fade before any brunch plans are underway. Through much of the day on Sunday, there will be sunny breaks with temperatures trying to get milder. But before the day is done, another round of showers moves through overnight into Monday morning. Temps will try to cool down as the showers fall, but mainly rain showers are anticipated.

Speaking of cooler temperatures, there will be a need for jackets and hats moving through the first half of next week. Temperatures will gradually get colder as the chance of rain decreases. A northerly breeze will make it feel chilly, especially Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. But afterwards, temperatures will get milder heading into the end of the work week. Another rain chance pops up Friday into Saturday.

SATURDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH - Cloudy with batches of rain on and off through the day. Highs: upper 40s to low 50s. Lows: mid-40s.

SUNDAY: Cloudy with scattered morning showers then a mix of sun and clouds in the afternoon. A chance for showers returns late in the night and last through the overnight hours. Highs: upper 50s. Lows: low 40s.

MONDAY: Rain showers taper off in the morning hours with drier and cooler conditions to follow. Highs: low 50s. Lows: upper 30s.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny, breezy and cooler. Highs: upper 40s. Lows: upper 20s to low 30s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and cool. Highs: upper 40s to low 50s. Lows: mid-30s.

THURSDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Highs: mid-50s. Lows: mid to upper 30s.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance for rain showers. Highs: mid-50s. Lows: upper 30s to low 40s.

SATURDAY: PASSOVER BEGINS (AT SUNSET, 7:32 p.m.) - Mostly cloudy, with a chance for showers. Highs: upper 40s to low 50s. Lows: low 40s.
